Angie joined HPS in 2014 with over 19 years’ experience in the veterinary industry. Angie is a qualified veterinary nurse, and also holds a Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance (Speech Pathology). Angie’s extensive industry experience includes Veterinary Nurse and Practice Manager, IDEXX Veterinary Laboratory – Client Liaison, National Lab Marketing Manager, and Key Account Manager, and Pet Nutrition – Brand Ambassador.

In her current role as Business Development Manager, Compounding, Angie is responsible for the strategic direction, business growth and performance of compounding across HPS and its network of HPS Approved Pharmacies. HPS Compounding provides compounding services to the hospital sector, correctional facilities, retail customers, and veterinarians. In September 2017, Angie was appointed Chair of HPS’ Compounding Services Committee (CSC) and assists the business in providing overall governance and guidance to HPS’ compounding services.

Anjana joined HPS in 2007 and has since held Pharmacy Manager positions at various sites in New South Wales. More recently, Anjana has been involved in the implementation and delivery of new services to clients including oncology clinical trials.

As Client Engagement Manager, Anjana is responsible for the coordination of improvement plans, seeking opportunities to benefit both organisations and ensuring current service delivery is in line with contractual agreements. In addition to these responsibilities, Anjana contributes to the HPS Clinical Governance Framework, assists with new technology deployment, staff mentoring and development, as well as forming innovative and strategic partnerships.

Anjana has completed a Bachelor of Pharmacy at the University of Sydney and is currently completing a Master’s in Business Administration at the Macquarie Graduate School of Management.

Briar completed her Bachelor of Management (Marketing) at the University of South Australia in 2003 before going on to complete a Certificate in Direct Marketing with Australian Direct Marketing Association in 2005. A Certified Practising Marketer and Associate Member of the Australian Marketing Institute, Briar continues to expand her academic achievements, completing a Master of Marketing at the University of South Australia. Over the past 15 years, Briar has gained extensive experience in both business to business and business to consumer marketing roles with national and multi-national companies in the retail, finance and entertainment industries.

As Director of Marketing & Communications, Briar is responsible for managing the strategic direction and performance of marketing across HPS and its network of HPS Approved Pharmacies, collaborating closely with the Executive team to meet the objectives of the business. In 2015, Briar was the recipient of HPS’ Corporate Team Member of the Year Award.

Over her seventeen years in the pharmacy industry, Choi-Ling has a range of experience including working as a Locum Pharmacist in Tasmania, as a Specialist Pharmacotherapy Pharmacist for the Department of Health and Human Services, and as Pharmacy Manager of a busy community pharmacy. Since joining HPS Pharmacies to manage the Hobart site, Choi has completed her AACP accreditation as well as a Diploma of Management to complement her pharmaceutical qualifications.

Choi received the 2013 HPS Pharmacy Manager of the Year Award for her work in Hobart. Committed to best practice standards of safety, Choi has also been a member of the Medication Safety Committee at two Tasmanian hospitals as well as numerous other committees including the HPS Work Health and Safety Committee.

As Regional Operations Manager – TAS, Choi is responsible for overseeing the operations of HPS Pharmacies’ sites, including financial performance, staffing and client management.

Clive commenced with HPS in 2013 possessing extensive Human Resources (HR) management experience spanning over 30 years across all HR disciplines as well as a tertiary qualification in a Bachelor of Management (Employment Relations). In 2014, Clive completed his post graduate studies in a Master of Business Administration via the University of South Australia.

Clive’s experience within HR is in a diverse range of national and international companies operating in both the public and private sectors. This includes HR roles within a variety of industries and employers such as Maritime Constructions, Hewlett Packard, Wattyl and Solver Paints, and BHP Billiton.

In his role with HPS, Clive is responsible for leading the daily operations of the HR team across learning and development, engagement, recruitment, employee relations, remuneration and benefits, organisation design, change management, and policy development.

Darren joined HPS as Finance Manager in 2015, with over 25 years of financial experience gained within large public companies and international accounting firms in Australia, London and New York. Darren has particular experience in process improvement, change management and project execution.

Darren is a Chartered Accountant and Certified Internal Auditor and holds a Bachelor of Commerce with an Accounting Major from the University of New South Wales.

Darren is responsible for managing the direction and performance of the Finance team, ensuring all statutory requirements are met and delivering high quality, timely information to internal and external customers and stakeholders.

David joined HPS in 2015 having worked as a National Contract Manager for one of Australia’s leading Health Insurers; where he gained broad and in-depth knowledge of healthcare services and funding models in Australia. David, a registered pharmacist, has since held Pharmacy Manager positions in Western Australia and Queensland.

In his current role as Regional Operations Manager – VIC East, David is responsible for overseeing the operations of a number of HPS Pharmacies’ sites, including financial performance, staffing, and client management.

Lisa joined HPS as National Projects Manager in 2012. With over eight years’ experience in project management, Lisa brings a wealth of knowledge and innovation. Lisa’s experience includes working with the New Zealand National Broadband and Aggregation rollout with Telecom NZ, and Project Analyst with Hewlett-Packard.

As National Projects Manager, Lisa is responsible for managing all new site transitions and refurbishments across HPS’ network of HPS Approved Pharmacies. In the past 18 months, Lisa has successfully managed 20 new site builds and refurbishments for HPS which has included advanced robotics and compounding suites built to TGA specifications.

Pei San has over twelve years’ experience in the pharmacy industry having practised in community and hospital pharmacy in Australia and the UK.

Prior to joining HPS, Pei San was an oncology pharmacist and most recently held the position of Director of Pharmacy where she provided management oversight to the pharmacy operations of Victoria’s largest not-for-profit private healthcare provider.

Peter joined HPS in 2014 with over ten years’ experience in pharmacy and management, six of which were gained as a senior manager with a national pharmacy group where he was awarded ‘Pharmacist Manager of the Year’ and ‘Most Improved Pharmacy’.

Peter has completed a Bachelor of Pharmacy (with First Class Honours) at University of Sydney and is accredited with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Additional certifications include Medication Reviews Accreditation with Australian Association of Consultant Pharmacy and leadership training with Australian Pharmaceutical Industries.

Sarah McInerney joined HPS in 2017 as General Manager – Operations and has over 13 years’ experience in the Health Service and Aged Care sectors. Sarah currently is a Board Member of Illawarra Diggers Aged Care Facility.

Sarah’s recent appointments include; General Manager, Dispensary, Professional Services and Compliance (Rx Management), Associate Lecturer and Tutor (University of Technology), Co-Proprietor and Managing Partner (Priceline Pharmacy Kiama), and Pharmacist, Managing Partner and Co-Proprietor (Soul Pattison Chemist Kiama).

Sarah has completed a Bachelor of Pharmacy at the University of Sydney and a Bachelor of Law and Commerce at the Australian National University.

Stephanie commenced with HPS in 2011 as a Clinical Pharmacist, having completed her Bachelor of Pharmacy at the University of Tasmania in 2006 and internship at a private hospital facility in Hobart in 2007. Stephanie transitioned to the locum pharmacist roster in 2012, gaining invaluable experience across HPS’ network of hospital pharmacies in Victoria.

Stephanie has worked in Pharmacy Manager roles across three HPS sites since 2013, giving her a wide variety of experience. In 2015, Stephanie was one of three nominees for the HPS “National Pharmacy Manager of the Year” award that recognises the outstanding leadership of a Pharmacy Manager within a team environment.

In her current role as Client Engagement Manager, Stephanie is responsible for delivering dedicated support to HPS’ clients to ensure client satisfaction, as well as driving medication safety initiatives, coordinating improvement plans and managing the overall relationship with clients at a national level.

Yianni joined HPS in 2007 as the Help Desk Analyst and has since advanced through multiple roles to achieve Director of IT. With 10 years’ experience in the IT industry, Yianni delivers a wide range of expertise from desktop, printers, networks, backend infrastructure and mobile technologies.

Possessing an ITIL certificate in IT Service Management, Yianni has been a high achiever with HPS receiving formal recognition in 2013 through being awarded Corporate Staff Member of the Year. As IT Manager, Yianni is responsible for monitoring and managing the performance of technology services provided to HPS Pharmacies and its clients.
