Drug Availability

Further to DrugAlert Volume 310, HPS Pharmacies wish to give notice that all suppliers are continuing to experience an interruption to the supply of metronidazole 400mg tablets. However, Metronide^® 200mg tablets are currently available. Normal supplies of metronidazole 400mg tablets are expected to resume in early March 2017.

Retain this notice in a prominent position, including in other related business units until supplies return to normal. Report any problems identified with medicines, vaccines or medical devices to the TGA.
